VividCaller Privacy Policy

Home

Effective Date: September 2026

VividCaller (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how VividCaller handles information when you use our caller display and incoming-call customization application. VividCaller provides a variety of caller display templates that allow you to personalize the visual appearance of incoming calls. You can select a template and apply it to your device to create a more distinctive and enjoyable calling experience.

1. Local Processing

VividCaller is designed to process the core content and customization functions locally on your device. Information required to select, configure, display, or manage caller display templates is processed locally whenever technically possible.

We do not intentionally collect, store, sell, or share your personal data through the core functionality of VividCaller.

Your locally stored app settings, selected templates, and related configuration information remain on your device and are not transmitted to us as part of the core app functionality.

2. Information We May Process

Because the core functionality of VividCaller operates locally, we do not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, phone number, contacts, call history, photos, or other directly identifying information.

However, if VividCaller includes third-party services such as attribution, analytics, or Firebase SDKs, those services may independently process limited technical or usage information as described below. Such processing is performed by the relevant third-party service providers according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

3. Third-Party Attribution Platform

If an attribution platform is integrated into VividCaller, the platform may process limited information such as advertising identifiers, device or app identifiers, installation information, campaign attribution information, or basic technical information.

The purpose of such processing is to measure advertising attribution, understand which marketing channels result in app installations, and evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

The attribution platform does not receive the content of your caller display templates or your locally stored personal information from VividCaller unless such information is specifically required and lawfully transmitted for a particular service.

If no attribution SDK is enabled in a particular version of VividCaller, no attribution data will be transmitted through such a platform.

4. Data Analytics Platform

If an analytics platform is integrated into VividCaller, it may process limited technical and app-usage information, such as app events, device or app identifiers, operating system information, app version, crash information, and general interaction information.

Analytics information may be used to understand application performance, identify technical problems, improve functionality, and evaluate how users interact with the application.

We do not intentionally use the analytics service to collect the content of your phone calls, contacts, call history, or other personal content stored on your device.

5. Firebase

VividCaller may use Firebase services provided by Google, such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or other Firebase functionality, depending on the version and configuration of the application.

Where Firebase services are enabled, they may process information such as app usage events, device or app identifiers, technical information, diagnostic information, crash reports, and other information necessary to provide the relevant Firebase service.

Firebase processing is subject to Google's applicable privacy terms and policies.

If a particular Firebase service is not enabled in a version of VividCaller, that service will not process information through VividCaller.

6. Sharing of Personal Data

We do not sell or intentionally share your personal data through the core functionality of VividCaller.

If third-party attribution, analytics, Firebase, or similar services are used, limited technical or usage information may be transmitted to those providers as necessary to provide their services. Such providers may act as independent or supporting data processors/controllers depending on the service and applicable law.

You have the right to know whether your personal data is shared. You may contact our Data Protection Officer using the contact information provided below to request information about whether your personal data has been shared, the categories of recipients, and the purposes of such sharing.

7. Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data.

You have the right to know whether your personal data has been sold. If applicable law provides additional rights regarding the sale or sharing of personal data, you may exercise those rights by contacting our Data Protection Officer.

8. How to Opt Out of Sharing or Sale

Because VividCaller does not sell personal data through its core functionality, there is no sale of personal data that you need to opt out of.

Where applicable, you may choose not to permit certain optional data sharing by disabling the relevant optional analytics, advertising, attribution, or personalization functions available within the application or your device settings.

You may also contact our Data Protection Officer to request that your personal data not be shared or sold, where such a right applies under applicable law.

We will process your request in accordance with the laws applicable to you.

9. Data Retention

VividCaller does not intentionally retain personal data on our servers as part of its core local functionality.

Information stored locally by the application remains on your device until you delete it, remove the relevant application data, uninstall VividCaller, or otherwise modify the relevant settings.

If a third-party service processes technical or analytics information, that information may be retained by the relevant provider for the period necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or fulfill other legitimate purposes.

We do not retain personal data for longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law.

10. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis for processing, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

11. Your Right to Access Personal Data

Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal data concerning you that we process.

You may request information about:

You may submit an access request by contacting our Data Protection Officer.

12. Your Right to Correct Personal Data

You may have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data that we maintain about you.

If you believe that information we process is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, please contact our Data Protection Officer and explain what information should be corrected.

We will review and address your request in accordance with applicable law.

13. Your Right to Delete Personal Data

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request deletion of personal data we hold about you.

You may request deletion when, for example, the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, processing is unlawful, or another applicable legal ground for deletion exists.

The right to deletion is not absolute. We may retain certain information when retention is required or permitted by law, including where necessary to comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, protect security, or satisfy other lawful requirements.

Because VividCaller primarily processes information locally, you can also remove locally stored application information by deleting the relevant app data or uninstalling the application, subject to the operating system's functionality.

14. Your Right to Know About Data Sharing

You may have the right to request information about whether your personal data is shared with third parties.

Upon a valid request, we may provide information about the categories of recipients, the purposes of sharing, and other information required under applicable law.

Where third-party services such as attribution, analytics, or Firebase are used, the applicable third-party service may independently process certain technical information as described in this Privacy Policy.

15. Your Right to Know About Data Sales

You may have the right to request confirmation of whether your personal data has been sold.

VividCaller does not sell personal data as part of its core functionality. If our data practices change in a manner that involves the sale of personal data, we will provide the disclosures and choices required by applicable law.

16. Right to Object and Restrict Processing

Where provided by applicable law, you may have the right to object to certain processing of your personal data or request restriction of processing.

For example, you may have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or to processing for direct marketing purposes.

We will evaluate and respond to such requests according to applicable legal requirements.

17. Complaints to a Supervisory Authority

You may have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection or privacy supervisory authority if you believe that our processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law.

You may contact the supervisory authority in the country or region where you live, work, or believe that an infringement has occurred.

We encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to address your concerns, but you are not required to contact us before exercising any right to complain where applicable law provides otherwise.

18. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

Because VividCaller is designed around local processing, keeping information on your device rather than transmitting it to our servers reduces the amount of personal information that we need to maintain.

Nevertheless, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
